Practical information

Practical information

Payment

50% of the entire rental fee must be paid when making a reservation. The other 50% must be paid latest 30 days before arrival. The Reservation is not valid until payment has been made in full.

Rental

All apartments are rented after agreement but initially from Saturday to Saturday.
Arrival from 14.00 Hrs. Departure before 10.00 Hrs.

The apartment should be left in the following state:

  • Tidy
  • Furniture where they were on arrival
  • Empty refrigerator
  • All garbage taken out

Any damage on the property should be reported to the office or to Eric.
If the apartment is not left in the above mentioned conditions, we will charge for extra cleaning.

Please notice: The apartments are to be used for habitation only. Receptions, parties, et cetera are not allowed. If a customer has a specific need for inviting people, then ask us and we will do our best to find a solution.
Quiet hours from 10 p.m.-7:30 a.m.

Keys

The keys to apartment will be given to you on arrival in Cannes.

Towels and linen

There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. Towels and linen are not included in the price. If the guest wants it, we can make beds and deliver towels. The price is 30 Eur per person.
Otherwise it is advised to bring: Sheets, duvet and pillow covers, towels and tea towels.

Cleaning

Streckers Apartments makes the departure cleaning, and the price is 60 Eur for apartments with 1 bedroom and 90 Eur for apartments with 3 bedrooms. This price is not included in the rental price.
(For festivals the price for final cleaning is 80 Eur for apartments with 1 bedroom and 160 Eur for apartments with 3 bedrooms).

Internet & telephone

There are wireless internet in all apartments, but no telephones. It is therefore recommended to bring a mobile phone, reception is good in Cannes.

Cannes city

Cannes is famous for its yearly film festival in May, fantastic sandy beaches, great food and wine. The town started as a small fishing village but has since developed into a pulsating big city where nearly half of Cannes 70.000 inhabitants work in the tourist industry. The place has become a magnet for the rich and famous but has plenty to offer the person on an ordinary budget. For more information see www.cannes.com

Activities

Nature offers anything you desire from beautiful green landscapes to rugged mountains and impressive rocks which gives the possibility for a wide range of interesting activities such as: hiking, cycling, mountain climbing, skiing, horse riding, swimming, windsurfing, diving, rafting, sailing and much, much more.

Skiing

Only 60 km north east of Monatauroux is the winter sports region Greolieres-les-Neiges (1800m) and approx. 1 1/2 hours away are the regions of Auron and Isola (1800-2600m). In the Italian mountains 1 hour from Monaco is Limone which is a wonderful oasis for ski fans (drive via Ventimiglia).

There are many beautiful and good golf courses in the area.

Betalingsbetingelser

Der skal betales 50% af det samlede lejebeløb, når der reserveres. De resterende 50% betales senest 30 dage før ankomst. Reservationen er ikke gyldig, før hele beløbet er indbetalt.

Udlejning

Alle lejligheder udlejes efter aftale, men som udgangspunkt fra lørdag til lørdag.
Ankomst fra kl. 14.00. Afrejse inden kl. 10.00

Lejlighederne skal afleveres:

  • Ryddelige
  • Møbler skal stå som ved ankomst
  • Køleskab skal tømmes
  • Alt skrald skal fjernes

Skader på indbo skal straks meddeles til vores kontor eller til Eric. Afleveres lejligheden ikke i henhold til ovenstående vil der blive sendt en opkrævning for en ekstra rengøring og udbedring af eventuelle skader.

Lejlighederne må kun benyttes til beboelse. Det er som udgangspunkt ikke tilladt at afholde arrangementer, receptioner, fester eller lignende i lejlighederne. Har kunden – evt. i forbindelse med en festival – et specifikt behov for at afholde et arrangement, så er vi åbne for at forsøge at finde en løsning.

Der skal være ro i lejlighederne fra kl. 22:00-7:30.

Udlevering af nøgle

Nøglen til lejligheden udleveres ved ankomst til Cannes.

Håndklæder og linned

Der forefindes dyner og hovedpuder i lejlighederne. Håndklæder og linned er ikke inkluderet i prisen. Håndklæder, sengelinned samt viskestykker kan lejes. Prisen er kr. 230,- pr. person.
Ellers skal man selv medbringe håndlæder, sengelinned og viskestykker.

Slutrengøring

Vi står selv for slutrengøring af lejlighederne, og prisen er kr. 450,- for lejligheder med 1 soveværelse og kr. 670,- for lejligheder med 3 soveværelser. Denne pris skal tillægges den egentlige lejeudgift.
(Til festivaler er prisen for slutrengøring kr. 600,- for lejligheder med 1 soveværelse og kr. 1200,- for lejligheder med 3 soveværelser.)

Internet og telefon

Der er trådløst internet, men ikke telefon i lejlighederne. Det anbefales at medbringe egen GSM mobiltelefon, da der er god dækning i Cannes.

Cannes by

Cannes er mest kendt for sin årlige filmfestival i maj, sine fantastiske sandstrande og den dejlige mad og vin. Byen startede som en lille fiskerby, men har udviklet sig til en sprudlende by, hvor næsten halvdelen af Cannes’ befolkning på 70.000 mennesker arbejder med turisme. Stedet er blevet en magnet for de rige og kendte, men har samtidig en masse at tilbyde mennesker med en almindelig pengepung. Se mere information på: www.cannes.com

Aktiviteter

Naturen byder på alt, hvad man kan ønske sig. Lige fra smukke grønne landskaber til barske bjerge og imponerende klipper. Det åbner muligheder for en bred vifte af interessante aktiviteter og af dem kan her nævnes: Vandre- og cykelture, bjergbestigning, skiløb, ridning, svømning, windsurfing, dykning, rafting, sejlads og meget meget mere.

Ski

Kun 60 km. nordøst for Monatauroux ligger vintersportsområdet Greolieres-les-Neiges (1800 m.) og på ca. 1½ time kan man komme til områderne Auron og Isola (1800-2600 m.).

Transport

Cannes is 25 km from the airport in Nice. Buses from the airport depart every 1/2 hour until 20.00 Hrs which functions well, though it is quicker in a taxi, so if you are many people with lots of baggage then we recommend a taxi where you will be driven straight to the door. A taxi costs approx. 80€ for 4 persons. The bus costs approx. 24€ for a return ticket.

Parking

In Cannes, there are many opportunities for parking in various carparks. We can recommend carpark Parc Lamy, which is easy to access from all the apartments – you can easily reach the Parc Lamy when driving down the main street of Cannes Rue d’Antibes. Prices of parking is generally high in Cannes but by contacting the office at Parc Lamy, can you buy parking for a very reasonable price if you are going to stay in Cannes for a longer period ie a week or more. Parc Lamy is part of Interparking, which also has other carparks in Cannes – check the Interparking website here >

Free parking … if you feel like doing a slightly longer walk, you can park for free in the Palm Beacha area in Cannes.

Transport

Cannes ligger 25 km. fra lufthavnen i Nice. Der kører en direkte bus fra lufthavnen hver halve time fra 8 morgen til 8 aften, som fungerer godt, men i en taxi går det dog hurtigere, og er I flere og medbringer meget bagage f.eks. golfbags, kan det anbefales at tage en taxi. Prisen for en taxi er ca. 600 kr., bussen koster ca. 90 kr. hver vej.

Parkering

I Cannes er der mange muligheder for parkering i diverse parkeringsanlæg. Vi kan anbefale parkeringsanlægget Parc Lamy, som ligger centralt for alle lejlighederne – man kan nemt komme ind til Parc Lamy bl.a. via hovedgaden i Cannes Rue d’Antibes. Priserne på parkering er generelt høje i Cannes, men ved henvendelse på kontoret i Parc Lamy, kan man købe parkering til en meget rimelig pris, hvis man skal være i Cannes i en længere periode dvs. en uge eller mere. Parc Lamy er en del af Interparking, som også har andre anlæg i Cannes – check evt. Interparking’s website her >

Gratis parkering… hvis man har mod på en lidt længere gåtur, så kan man parkere gratis i området Palm Beach i Cannes.
